Temporary Accounts Payable Clerk – Hybrid (Bradford)

About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Temporary Accounts Payable Clerk to join our finance team in Bradford. This hybrid role offers flexibility, combining remote working with office-based days. You will be responsible for processing invoices, reconciling supplier accounts, and ensuring timely payments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Processing invoices, matching, batching, and coding them accurately
  • Handling supplier queries and resolving discrepancies
  • Preparing and processing payment runs
  • Reconciling supplier statements and accounts
  • Supporting the finance team with ad hoc duties as required

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Previous experience in an Accounts Payable role
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good knowledge of accounting software (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
