The organisation is an international law firm headquartered in London, with offices in Guildford, Manchester, Leeds and several other sites across the UK. They specialise in legal support in many sectors, with particular expertise in insurance and energy.
The Challenge
Following a merger with another renowned law firm, the company needed staff to support the massively increased workloads and strain on resources. Over the last two years, they’ve also experienced significant staff turnover in their transactional department, necessitating the support of a recruitment agency to help fill these roles.

How IN2 Consult Supported
IN2 Consult supported them through the merger, placing a controls specialist to assist with systems communicating with each other during the merger. We also placed niche roles such as forensic accountants which the company have historically always struggled with, despite having grown their internal recruitment team by seven heads in the last year.
The Results
We placed 15 candidates over the first 6 months of 2023, filling each role in an average of 2.5 weeks, sourcing profiles, due diligence and setting interviews. Every candidate that IN2 Consult has placed at the company is still working there over a year later, which has massively reduced the ‘churn’ in the transactional department.
The Business Impact
One of our earliest placements is now leading a team within the organisation with 6 direct reports, having been promoted after just 6 months. When they reviewed the PSL in early 2024, IN2 Consult was one of just 3 agencies that remained on the finance PSL displacing several agencies with very long-standing relationships with the organisation. This was due to having a significantly better fill rate and the quality of our candidates.
