As an Assistant Management Accountant, supporting effective accounting, reporting, and month-end processes. You'll collaborate with Operations teams, Senior Management, and the Board, serving as the primary contact for cost reporting and variance analysis.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with stakeholders and perform variance/trend analysis.
Lead month-end processes with the Management Accountant to meet deadlines.
Manage Balance Sheet items and refine financial processes.
Review P&L costs to identify trends and understand the cost base.
Prepare monthly lead schedules and contribute to management accounts.
Liaise with operational teams, supporting performance analysis and decision-making.
Assist with forecasting, budgeting, and cost control to enhance profitability.
Requirements
Finance experience (e.g., Accounts Payable/Receivable).
Results-driven, organized, and self-motivated.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Advanced Excel skills; SAP experience is a plus.
Working towards an accounting qualification (desirable).
