About the Role

We are looking for a knowledgeable and experienced D365 F&O Operations Lead / Subject Matter Expert to join our team. This role requires expertise in Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management (SCM), Customer Engagement (CE), and Finance & Operations (F&O) or Business Central (BC). You will take the lead in shaping and delivering solutions within a manufacturing-focused team of 6-7 people.

This role is suited to an individual with a strong background in manufacturing and supply chain operations, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to lead with a people-centric approach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and drive the implementation and optimisation of D365 solutions with a focus on:

    • Production Control

    • Warehouse Management

    • Product Information Management

    • Sales and Marketing

  • Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for D365 SCM and CE, and F&O.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective D365 solutions.

  • Provide leadership and guidance to a team of 6-7 individuals, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment.

  • Showcase strong knowledge of supply chain, procurement, and overall business processes and operations.

  • Drive efficiency and innovation within the manufacturing sector, leveraging deep industry knowledge.

Requirements

  • Experience: Proven experience with D365 SCM, CE, and F&O/BC modules, particularly in manufacturing environments.

  • Technical Skills: Ability to configure and customise D365 modules.

  • Industry Knowledge: Strong background in supply chain, procurement, and business operations.

  • Leadership: A people-centric leadership style, fostering teamwork and positive relationships.

  • Soft Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a sociable and approachable demeanour.

  • QBE (Qualified by Experience): Practical experience is valued over formal education, although D365 SCM certifications are advantageous.
