Position Overview:


I am working exclusively with a SME growing organisation seeking an experienced and strategic Finance Manager to oversee financial operations across the EU/EMEA region. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of regional financial regulations, strong analytical skills, and the ability to drive financial strategy in alignment with business objectives. This position is critical to ensuring financial integrity, compliance, and efficient resource allocation to support our projects in these markets.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct financial forecasting and variance analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  • Provide insights on cost control and identify opportunities for financial efficiency.
  • Ensure full compliance with local financial laws, tax regulations, and corporate governance standards across EMEA.
  • Liaise with external auditors and local authorities for audits, filings, and reporting.
  • Prepare and deliver accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Analyze key financial metrics and provide recommendations to senior management.
  • Manage and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
  • Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure financial transparency.

 

Key Qualifications:

  • Similar experience in a Finance Manager role leading and building out a team.
  • Proficiency in financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems).
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across cultures and teams.
  • Oversee the preparation of accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP) and internal policies.
  • Present financial results to senior management, stakeholders, and board members.
