Group Financial Controller (Real Estate Asset Management) - London - £120,000 - £150,000 + Bonus & Benefits - Hybrid - ACCA/CIMA/ACA

IN2 Consult are currently supporting a widely recognised Real Estate Asset Management business based in the heart of London on their recruitment of a Group Financial Controller to join their expanding finance team.

This senior finance role will oversee all financial operations and reporting across the group, ensuring robust financial management, compliance, and strategic planning. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in real estate asset management, with experience in overseeing financial performance, risk management, and investment analysis within the property sector.

This Group Financial Controller role includes the following duties:

  • Lead the finance function across the group, ensuring strong financial governance and compliance with regulatory requirements.

  • Oversee financial reporting, including preparation of consolidated financial statements, budgeting, and forecasting.

  • Provide strategic financial insight to senior management to support business growth and investment decisions.

  • Manage cash flow, financial planning, and risk assessment to maintain financial stability.

  • Ensure effective financial controls, policies, and procedures are in place and adhered to.

  • Work closely with asset managers, property teams, and external stakeholders to optimise financial performance of real estate assets.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with auditors, banks, investors, and regulatory bodies.

  • Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.

 

The ideal candidate for this Group Financial Controller role will have the following experience:

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).

  • Proven experience as a Financial Controller, Finance Director, or similar senior finance role.

  • Extensive experience in real estate asset management, including financial oversight of property investments.

  • Strong knowledge of UK financial regulations, tax, and reporting requirements.

  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to influence and drive strategic initiatives.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

  • Proficiency in financial systems, ERP software, and Microsoft Excel.
