Head of Balance Sheet Control- London (Hybrid)- £115,000-£130,000 + Bonus & Benefits- ACCA/ACA- Financial Services
IN2 Consult is partnering with a large, multinational client within the Financial Services sector on the recruitment of a Head of Balance Sheet Control to join their growing team. The role is responsible for balance sheet substantiation, management reporting and internal controls process improvements as well as statutory reporting in the business as well as overseeing a team, driving change and partnering with key stakeholders.
The key responsibilities for this Head of Balance Sheet Control role include:
Business partnering with key C-Suite level stakeholders across multiple departments within the business
Oversee the management reporting and balance sheet substantiations
Drive change and process improvements including the automation of processes and improvements to the balance sheet substantiation and financial reporting processes
Identify key areas of risk and work with the wider business to drive and improve key internal controls processes from a financial perspective
Deliver accurate, timely, and insightful financial analysis and reports to management, supporting effective decision-making and maintaining a strong control environment.
Contribute to key business projects, including initiatives related to business development, regulatory changes, and finance transformation.
Lead a team of experience finance professionals
The desired experience for this Head of Balance Sheet Control role include:
ACCA/ACA Qualified with a minimum of 10+ years of post qualified experience
Strong experience in overseeing balance sheet substantiation, management reporting and statutory accounting
Ideally come from a Big 4/ Top 10 Audit Firm Background
Advanced knowledge of key IFRS reporting standards
Come from a strong background in the Financial Services Sector including banking, fintech, wealth & asset management, trading or foreign exchange
Experience of end to end process flows and data quality management of FX or volume
Proven track record of driving change and process improvements within a complex, fast paced
