As a Management Accountant, you will prepare monthly management accounts, reports, and variance analysis, as well as perform bank reconciliations, VAT returns, sales reporting and analysis, annual audit/tax pack requirements, and other ad-hoc finance tasks as needed.
Responsibilities:

Prepare month-end journals and analyze P&L accounts.

Compile Monthly Reporting Packs (MRP) with commentary on key variances.

Reconcile balance sheet accounts monthly and raise concerns.

Perform daily sales and bank reconciliations.
-
Maintain the fixed asset register.

Complete quarterly VAT returns.
-
Reconcile intercompany accounts.
-
Follow Standard Operating Processes (SOPs).
-
Assist with purchase ledger as required.
-
Monitor debtors ledger and escalate issues.
-
Assist with annual/biannual stock takes.
-
Allocate cash receipts on cashier accounts.
-
Complete ‘Office for National Statistics’ questionnaires.

Conduct sales reporting and analysis.

Contribute to annual business planning.

Support year-end audits and external Finance consultants.
Requirements:

Minimum two years' experience in a similar role.
-
ACCA/CIMA (part qualified).
-
Excellent Excel and IT skills.

Experience with Sage 200 (desirable).

Strong interpersonal and time management skills.

Quick learner, self-motivated, multitasker, hardworking, enthusiastic, and a team player.
