Billings Specialist- 10 Month Initial Contract- Heathrow/ Hounslow Area (2 days per week in the office)- £24,000-£26,000 

IN2 Consult is currently partnering with a global clients on the recruitment of a Billing Specialist to join their team on an initial 10 Month Fixed Term Contract. This Billing Specialist role is responsible for accurately and promptly raising sales invoices and managing Work In Progress (WIP) balances.


Specific Duties and Responsibilities

  • Invoice Management:

    • Accurately and timely preparation of complex sales invoices for Claims, Legal, Liability, Risk and Asset Management, South Africa, and the Middle East
    • Work across various departments and coordinate with managers and administrative teams to manage the billing process efficiently.
    • Utilize and manage multiple systems to complete invoicing tasks.
    • Ensure all file-related expenses and contractor invoices are recorded correctly.
  • WIP and Reporting:

    • Maintain WIP balances within or below budgeted levels, preparing reports by surveyor and arranging follow-ups as required.
    • Generate monthly Working Capital and WIP reports, providing summaries and insights.
    • Support WIP and billing projects 
  • Data and System Oversight:

    • Ensure systems are effectively used for invoicing, providing training and support as needed.
    • Review file setup to ensure accurate reflection of billing terms.
  • Collaboration and Communication:

    • Work with Finance teams to ensure expenses are input correctly and recoveries are accurate.
    • Collaborate with Credit Control to resolve billing discrepancies promptly.
    • Attend meetings with brokers, clients, and internal stakeholders to address invoicing queries or changes.

Qualifications and Experience

Essential:

  • Proven experience in complex billing, ideally within the service industry.
  • Advanced proficiency in Word and Excel (including pivot tables).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to organize workloads and meet objectives under tight deadlines.
  • Clear, concise, and structured communication skills.
  • Strong teamwork, multitasking abilities, and flexibility.
  • Experience working with senior stakeholders and handling high-pressure situations.
