IN2 Consult is partnering with a large, market leading organisation which is a part of a £30 Billion revenue group on the recruitment of a
finance assistant to join their large accounting and finance function.
This is a unique entry-level opportunity for ambitious candidates looking to pursue a career in accounting and finance with exposure to month-end management accounting,
business partnering and commercial finance as well as strong long-term career progression.
The Key Duties of this finance assistant role include:
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Raising invoices and credit notes in line with business requirements and approval process
- Assisting with month end close in line with business requirements.
- Updating and posting monthly fixed journals.
- Reviewing and updating contracts data files.
- Exposure to working with the Finance Business Partner & Senior Finance Business Partner with ad hoc tasks.
- Maintaining KPI reports to ensure fit for purpose.
The desired candidate will have the following:
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with stakeholders are different levels
- Strong attention to detail
- Previous exposure to using Excel
- Ambition to go down a career within accounting and finance
- Previous degree/ hands-on experience in accounting and finance is desirable but not required
