Management Accountant - £65,000 - £70,000 - Real Estate - London (Hybrid Working) - ACCA/CIMA/ACA
IN2 Consult are partnering with an exciting, reputable real estate brand based in London on their recruitment of a qualified Management Accountant to join their established finance team.
This role requires a candidate with strong technical accounting expertise, the ability to provide accurate accounting guidance across the business, and work collaboratively with the wider finance team.
This Management Accountant role includes the following responsibilities:
- Prepare and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts, ensuring they are accurate, timely, and in line with company policies.
- Support the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring all accounting entries are accurate and aligned with company policies.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal controls. Assist in audits and prepare necessary documentation for external auditors.
- Monitor cash flow and assist with forecasting, ensuring that liquidity is maintained to meet operational needs.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts. Analyse variances between budgeted and actual performance, providing recommendations for corrective actions.
- Conduct detailed financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Provide financial insights to support business decisions and optimise profitability.
- Monitor and control costs to ensure the company stays within budgetary constraints. Propose strategies for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial information and insights to assist in decision-making and improve financial performance.
- Continuously identify opportunities to streamline financial processes, improve reporting, and enhance efficiency.
The ideal candidate for this Management Accountant role will have the following experience:
- ACCA/CIMA/ACA Qualified
- Experience in working real estate or a similar industry
- Proven experience as a Management Accountant or similar finance role, with a strong understanding of financial accounting and management reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
